Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is a boys’ club whose main purpose is to “Reach, Teach, and Keep Boys for Christ”.
This ministry revolves around the fact that our young boys’ lives hang in the balance and we as a church can tip the scales by spiritually and physically leading and guiding them in the ways of the Lord. If not, the world will raise them in sinful ways that could keep them from Heaven.
Class Times: 7 PM – 8:15 PM every Wednesday night
Location: Family Life Center – Royal Ranger hallway
We currently offer two grade based classes in our Royal Ranger program.
Ranger Kids
Our youngest class is called Ranger Kids. This class is for boys in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. At this age we teach the boys Bible verse memorization, basic principles of Christian living and interaction with fellow classmates. This is accomplished through devotions, games, crafts, and other class work that helps the boys earn merits of achievement. Activities are also planned for this age. We have field trips, lock-ins, and other things to do to help keep these boys’ minds and lives focused on the goodness of God and how it relates to our lives.
Discovery Rangers
This class is for boys in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. At this age we teach the boys through bible studies, devotions, games, and crafts. This is also the age that we introduce the boy to the world of camping and outdoor skills. Much can be learned about God’s creation, teamwork, fellow classmates, and life during a camping trip. This also provides an excellent opportunity to deepen a boy’s relationship with God. This group also goes on field trips as well as camping trips and earns merits of achievement through class work.
